Q: WHO ARE THE LEO’s?

A: The Lititz LEO Club is a group of middle school & high school youth who are sponsored by the Lititz Lions Club. The LEO name represents Leadership, Experience and Opportunity LEO clubs are guided by Lions Clubs International, who crafted the official LEO Club Objective: “To provide the youth of the world an opportunity for the development and contribution, individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national, and international community.”  The Lititz Leo Club meets this objective by planning events, holding meetings, working together, raising awareness & financially supporting many local community & service groups, and collaborating with adults & their peers. Over the last several years, the Lititz LEOs have provided financial contributions & volunteered to serve for several area organizations (not all-inclusive): The Warwick and Lititz DARE programs, Lititz K-9 Unit, Lititz Rec  Center, Lititz /Warwick Community Chest, the Reach out and Read Program, Water Street Rescue Mission, National Night Out, Leader Dog, SABVI, Northeast Eye Bank, Beacon Lodge, Drums NOT Drugs Concert, and the July 4th Celebration in Lititz Springs Park.  Along with direct donations to these organizations, the LEO’s also donate to annually to over 20 charities through the Fire & Ice Chili Cook-Off.

 

Q: WHO CARVES THE ICE SCULPTURES?

A: DiMartino Ice Company, located in Jeannette, PA hand crafts each & every ice sculpture at the festival. Look for them on Friday night as they carve several sculptures LIVE! Over 50 ice sculptures will be available for viewing starting at 5pm on Friday.

A: BLOCK PARTY & PARTY in the PARK

 WHEN: Friday, Feb 17th  | 5-9pm

 WHERE: Downtown Lititz- Main St & Broad St & Lititz Springs Park

 COST: There is no entry fee, but bring some cash for food & games

 PARKING: Free parking is available throughout Lititz

 Enjoy historic downtown Lititz, local retailers,  Lititz Springs Park, over 50 ice sculptures, live entertainment, lots of food & FUN!

 

Pulse Dance Pavilion will be in the Lititz Springs Park from 5:30 to 8:30pm

 

A: CHILI COOK-OFF

 WHEN: Saturday, Feb 18th | 11a-3p

 WHERE: Warwick High School Cafeteria- 301 W. Orange St, Lititz

 COST: Entry Fee: $8 in advance* & $10 at the door

 Buttons are sold at Bombergers (555 Furnace Hills Pike) , Stauffers of Kissel Hill Lititz Location (1050 Lititz Pike) , Dosie Dough (45 South Broad Street) and the General Sutter/Bulls Head (14 East Main Street). 2016 SOLD OUT by 12noon. Get your Chili Cook off Buttons TODAY!

Enjoy 25 different chili recipes & support each chili chef’s designated charity. Chili chefs will compete for various awards, including the ultimate “People’s Choice” grand trophy.

 

A: WINTER WONDERLAND CARNIVAL

 WHEN: Saturday, Feb 18th | 11a-3p

 WHERE: Warwick High School Gymnasium- 301 W. Orange St, Lititz

 COST: No Entry fee. Pay-as-you-go for games, activities & snacks

 PARKING: Free parking is available at Warwick High School

Experience our amazing indoor carnival ! Plenty of food, activities, face painting, coloring/craft stations, inflatables, games & contests. We also have some very special guests that will be strolling throughout the event that you won’t want to miss!

 

A: VENDOR FAIR

WHEN: Saturday, Feb 18th | 11a-3p

WHERE: Warwick High School Small Gymnasium- 301 W. Orange St, Lititz

COST: No Entry fee.

PARKING: Free parking is available at Warwick High School

A: DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

WHEN: Sunday, Feb 19th | 1-5p

WHERE: Warwick High School Gymnasium- 301 W. Orange St, Lititz

COST: General admission: $2

Information to participate in the tournament, including fees & rules coming soon!

PARKING: Free parking is available at Warwick High School

Teams of 7-8th & 9-12th graders will complete for the coveted Fire & Ice Dodgeball Champion trophy! Lititz-based teams only!
